Spring break and gossip

What up?! It's spring break and I am so happy! I had a sleepover Thursday night, Friday I played outside with me friends all day!!! Tag is my thing right now. I am talking the real way to play tag. Jumping fences, jumping off the porch and over my moms flower garden so the tulips grow, and all that good stuff. 

Spring is my favorite time of year. The school year is almost
over, it's warm all the time. Spring is just positive. 

Okay, now I have to tell you something that isn't so positive. 

      Gossip.

My mom was telling me how to be careful not to gossip so much. We wasn't telling me that because I have a gossip issue or anything, but I was upset because well...

I go to dance and you know how some dancer can be, I don't know uh,          BRATS! 
And a few of them were talking bad about me so i told my mom and thats why she was telling me to be careful about gossip.

Anyways, she said to be careful about what to say.

Ever since then, I have realized how much my friends and the people I am close to gossip. And now I realize how much I used to gossip, because they gossip, so I must have been a part of that. 

I have been standing up for the people my friends gossip about lately and it feels SO GOOD!!! 

Like, the other day I was with 2 of my really good friends, and they were talking bad about a girl on my block that is kind of off...

E: She is such a freak! 
M: yeah, but I feel bad for her. 
E: I feel bad for the people who have to play with her. She needs to learn to grow up!
M: Well, i think she's just kind of different. I don't thing that means we can't be nice to her. 
E: Yeah I feel bad for her too, she got in trouble one time, so her parents took away her bed!
M: Wait, where did she sleep?
E: I don't know.
M: Yep. Thats sort of harsh...
E: I know.
M: I think we should talk about something else now.
E: good idea!
