Sad sad times

Hey! I am bored. My dog died on Saturday! It was SO SAD! My mom said she has never loved something she hates so much.

Here's how it all happened...

Cairo, my dog, barfed in the house so my mom sent her out to the backyard. Then she completely forgot about her.

Usually she scratches on the door when she wants to come in. Well, about 3 hours pasted when my my mom finally went outside to check on her.

The fence door was open so mom went to the front yard where Cairo was laying down in the grass differently then she usually does.

My mom got her to come in. Cairo went to her water bowl which is at the back of the house. She fell about three times on her way.

When I came out of the TV room, Cairo was laying down next to my big brother.

I saw her walk. She looked like she was drunk. I went upstairs to my room and cried for about 10 minutes. When I came back downstairs half my face was wet from the tears.

That night we couldn't get Cairo to go upstairs so my mom slept with her downstairs. The next morning my mom got her to go outside but not back in.

She was laying on the porch when I first saw her that day. My mom left that morning to go somewhere. I had to check on Cairo every ten minutes.

One time, I realized I hadn't checked on her in a while so I went outside. She was on the sidewalk. She had fallen of the porch. Some things had been knocked over.

I called for my brother. He sat out there with Cairo while I ran to get mom. Luckily she was still in the neighborhood.

Then, when I came home with mom, my dad carried Cairo into the car, to go to the vet. We all knew what was coming. We'd have to take her put her down.

My brother didn't want to come. I understand why.

At the vet we found out that Cairo had a tumor. They could have done surgery, but it wouldn't last long.

Cairo was gone before the finished putting in all the Anastasia.

She was asleep for good. Now she is in that bi dog house above. =D
