Mira in 1st Grade

I'm in first grade. I have a journal. I write stories and my teacher writes back.

Mira: I love my Daddy. He is so nice. I like about him. He likes to tease me. 

Teacher: Your dad sounds really nice! I love my dad too! :) 

Mira: I love my mommy. She is so nice. 

Teacher: Sounds like you have a pretty good family!

Mira: My sister is so nice. She lets me come in her room. 

Teacher: That is nice. I bet you're a nice sister too. That's why she lets you come in her room. :)

Mira: My brothers are so nice. They let me come in their room.

Teacher: Sounds like you have a really great family!

Mira: I do.

Teacher: :)

Mira: My favorite animal is a cat! And a kangaroo!

Teacher: My favorite animal is a horse. Do you have a cat?

Mira: No.

Mira: My Dad is allergic to cats. 

Teacher: Uh oh! I guess that means you probably don't have a cat. Do you have any pets?

Mira: Yes I have a dog.

Mira: My favorite thing to do is go to school.

Teacher: That makes me happy! I like having you here too! :)

Mira: My Grandma used to live in New York City. I missed them. To bad I didn't get to go there. But finally they moved back to Utah. It is fun!

Teacher: Wow! You did a great job writing! :) I'm glad your grandma's back.

Mira: I love to go to the pool. It's fun. I saw my friend named Lily. 

Teacher: Fun! Did you play with her?

Mira:Yes

Mira: When I was in Kindergarten I went to Disneyland. IT was fun. I didn't get to go on the nemoe one. IT was o.k. though!

Teacher: I love disneyland! What's your favorite ride?

Mira: The star wars one.

Teacher: Mine too! :) I also like the Indiana Jones one.

Mira: My grandma and grandpa live in East Lake. I get to go there. It's fun.

Teacher: What do you do with them when you go there?

Mira: I watch a movie.

Teacher: What movie did you see?

Mira: Lexi invited me to her Birthday. It was fun! We had a water fight.

Teacher: That does sound like fun. Birthday's are great!

Mira: Yesterday I went to the skating park. It was fun. I got to watch skate boarders. I went to one of them.

Teacher: Wow! How Fun!
